Facility Notice: Acknowledging the CLS: UPDATE
Publications acknowledgement update -- Researchers are asked to acknowledge the beamline(s), as well as the participation of any beamline staff who may have assisted in any aspect of an experiment, and include the following statements when presenting results from the CLS: "Part or all of the research described in this paper was performed at the Canadian Light Source, a national research facility of the University of Saskatchewan, which is supported by the Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI), the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC), the National Research Council (NRC), the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), the Government of Saskatchewan, and the University of Saskatchewan"
On October 1st, changes to personal dosimetry at CLS will be implemented. Users will no longer be required to wear a personal dosimeter and the CLS Users Office will stop issuing personal dosimeters to general users. Any questions about this process may be directed at the CLS Health and Safety team.
After hours, weekends and holidays, Users with a valid badge that use the SAL old entrance and the BMIT entrance can swipe their card at the exterior door, then they will have to call the Commissionaires by using the Intercom and the Commissionaires will go down to let them into the building. Users are encouraged to enter the building through the Main Entrance.
